Financial Analyst
has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for aFinancial Analyston behalf of our client, an established national construction company based in Chicago, IL.
As a key Finance team member, the Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting / forecasting and providing financial and commercial support.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Directly support the Director of Internal Audit, Mergers & Acquisitions Leader, and CFO.
- Provide a thorough financial and business performance analysis across 50+ operating units.
- Review of compliance with financial policies, as well as testing of transaction processing.
- Assist Corporate Accounting with external year-end auditing.
- Develop and implement metrics, tools, processes, and reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or a related field.
- Applied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standards.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in construction or project accounting.
- If you don't have construction experience, our client can train in the industry if you have strong project accounting experience in other industries
- Excellent written, verbal, and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and motivated with a strong outcome orientation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and priorities.
COMPENSATION
This exciting opportunity offers the ability to impact a growing company significantly! Starting compensation includes a competitive salary of $100K-$120K DOE, plus benefits comprising an excellent work environment, free gym membership, 401K with a company match after 30 days, paid
vacation (15 days to start), and ten holidays.
