The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and matching qualified applicants for Corporate Positions. This position is responsible for assessing the technical skills of applicants to ensure they possess the skills necessary to be successful.
- Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Arrange in-person and video conference interviews
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and executive management to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization
- Interview applicants to obtain information regarding work history, training, education, and job skills
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Perform search for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, intranet / internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firm, employee referrals
- Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations as appropriate
- Ensure candidate application is complete and accurate
- Disposition candidates to appropriate statuses in the applicant tracking system
- Ensure all communications internal / external are courteous and professionally received and returned.
- Maintain public relations with outside contacts, vendors, and applicants
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or related field; OR
- Associate's degree in a related field AND two (2) years of directly related recruiting experience OR
- Four (4) years of directly related recruiting experience OR
- Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
- Knowledge principles, practices, and standards of recruitment / employment
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting recruitment and employment
- Skilled in verbal and written communications
- Ability to work in lean, high pace, decentralized environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in problem-solving and decision making
- Knowledge employment databases
- Experience using an applicant tracking system, preferably Recruiting Management
- Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail
