Your New Role...
Position is responsible for evaluating and developing material and talent for motion picture production.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Attends and participates in creative meetings. Coordinates and follows up on resulting ideas and projects. Solicits, analyzes and evaluates material for development and production.
- Reviews and responds to creative script submissions.
- Acts as a liaison between the studio and the creative community.
- Maintains and complies lists of writers, directors and actors. Evaluates and meets with new writers, directors, producers, actors and production crews.
Establishes and maintains contacts with the writers on current projects.
- Formulates ideas and locates and nurtures new talent.
- Attends screenings and takes specific script notes.
- Supervises development of material and projects to be made by the company. Oversees production of films, ensuring that schedules and budgets are kept.
Prepares reports which outline development and production situations and provides analysis of current and prospective market trends.
- Responsible for supervising activities and staff members in job tasks.
- Researches and coordinates various projects as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience...
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience as Creative / Production Executive
- Thorough knowledge and experience of theatrical film development and production
- Experience with film production in order to maintain proper control.
- Must have thorough knowledge and experience in theatrical film development and production
- Ability to pitch and develop materials for motion picture production
- Ability to manage multiple projects, and organize and schedule work effectively
- Strong relationships with filmmakers, talent and agents
- Must be able to locate, nurture and formulate ideas for new talent.
- Must be able to research and coordinate various projects.
- Knowledge of International and Domestic film markets.
- Knowledge and familiarity with key members of creative community
- PC Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Word and email required
- Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with executives and members of the creative community in person and on the telephone.
- Must be able to reason through issues, resolve problems and make recommendations.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must be able to review, analyze and respond to script submissions.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Travel will be required.

The Legal Bits
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required.
$197,050.00 - $365,950.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
