Education High School Diploma Experience Approximately 2 years of related experience, preferably in relevant specialty area. Completion of a medical assistant training course that includes phlebotomy training is highly desired. Candidates with extensive medical assistant work experience, along with phlebotomy experience, may be considered. If required to draw blood, proper phlebotomy training is required prior to performing those duties.
