Summary :
The service line marketing manager develops strategicmarketing plans for assigned service lines in alignment withbusiness goals and objectives.
This leader establishes compellingvalue propositions and engages consumers to increase access, growvolumes, and create positive return on investment.
The director,service line marketing has a passion for data and the achievementof key performance indicators, enjoys problem solving, and presentsmarketing initiatives and results to leadership groups.
Thedirector works directly with clinical and administrative leadersacross the ministries to plan marketing activities and works acrosssystem teams and external agencies to build successful campaigns.
This individual should have strong working knowledge of diseases,conditions, and related treatments and partners with strategy teamsto understand and communicate competitive positioning and report onoutcomes and financials to executive leadership.
- Creates strategic integrated marketing plansthat are aligned with the system’s goals for assigned servicelines
- Lead discussions with system, Ministry,and clinical leadership to understand business goals andcompetitive positioning and align marketing priorities, strategies,tactics, and resources
- Craft marketing contentand materials for campaigns and initiatives consistent withCHRISTUS Health brand
- Analyze strategicplanning data and insights, along with proprietary and syndicatedmarketing research to understand key market dynamics, trends andcompetition that drives marketingstrategy
- Develop relationships with serviceline leaders across all US Ministries to effectively manage aportfolio of strategic service lines
- Monitorand communicate service line consumer perception, preference, andrecall for the system and Ministries
- AssessMinistry operational readiness to support growth, consulting withadministrative and marketing leaders on consumer accessstrategies
- Partner with Ministry and systemmarketing teams to implement marketing initiatives, usinginnovation and creativity to achieve sharedgoals
- Work with marketing and strategyleadership to define key performance indicators and driveperformance to meet and exceed performancetargets
- Collaborate with operational andstrategy leads to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns withorganizational priorities
- Present plans andresults to key service line, administration, and physicianleadership
- Integrate and coordinate serviceline marketing efforts with Ministry marketing, digital marketing,public relations, communications, social media, marketing agencies,and other stakeholders
- Work simultaneously onmultiple projects, prioritizing by deadline andimportance
- Perform other duties asassigned
This role will be privy toand responsible for confidential corporate information, includingstrategic plans, financial data and patient data sources containingpatient data.
Requirements :
- Undergraduate degree in businessadministration, marketing / communications, or related fieldrequired. Master’s degree in business administration, marketing,health administration or related field stronglypreferred
- Strong interpersonal communicationskills and political acumen
- Excellenttypography skills and an extreme attention todetail
- Ability to think strategically, executeeffectively, and deliver high quality work against tightdeadlines
- Ability to self-motivate and motivateothers to find creative solutions under tightdeadlines
- Advanced level knowledge of MicrosoftOffice tools
- Exceptional oral and writtencommunications skills
- 8-10 years related workexperience required with progressive responsibilities andexperience in marketing and communications specific to thehealthcare industry
- 3-5 years of experiencewith clinical programs in integrated health systemsrequired
- Must possess powerful and clearwritten and verbal communications skills, project management skillswith attention to detail and organizationalskills
- Ability to use a computer for extendedperiods of time, including software such as Microsoft Office andweb-based tools like Workfront
- Ability to workextended hours on occasion, including weekends andevenings
- Ability to perform a large number oftasks with varying degrees of difficult and to maintain flexibilityin managing priorities
- Ability to interact witha variety of internal and external audiences in a professional andcompetent manner, including system senior management, local andsenior leaders, and physicians
- Ability toresponsibly handle confidential information Must be mentally alertand able to plan and organize work schedule.
Must be able to workrapidly, under pressure and with frequent interruptions. Must havea good memory and capacity for detail
