Medicare Marketing Account Executive - Marketing

Summary :
This position maximizes commercial enrollment and retention within an assigned brokerage / agency and / or territory to meet budgeted enrollment quotas and revenue projections.
This position is also responsible for facilitating renewal and retention processes and consults and is advised on all products, industry trends, and plan functions.
The Account Executive is also responsible for realizing annual sales quotas and client retention.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Establish strong working relationships with brokers / agents, existing clients, and prospective opportunities to retain and increase membership.
- Collect accurate data from brokers, and agents to make effective sales presentations.
- Communicate with brokers / agents, account decision-makers, and employees to assure they are well informed of Paramount's policies, regulations, and changes.
- Coordinate the representation and distribution of benefit comparisons and enrollment materials and conduct enrollment presentations.
- Provide an overview to potential Medicare and Dental Plan members regarding plan concepts, policies, and procedures, services available, network description, uses of the Plan / Plan restrictions, advanced directives, and members' rights and responsibilities.
Facilitate the completion of enrollment forms.
Develop and foster Medicare member sales and retention through the assigned broker / agent channel(s) of distribution.
Process all applications according to established CMS, NAIC rules, ODI guidelines, and internal quality measures, and actively participate in AEP, ANOC, and member marketing & education activities and events.
- Keep informed on state regulations and legislation relevant to the health care / managed care industry and health care reform.
- Maintain accurate records for assigned territory and submit accurate and timely reports as requested.
- Provide marketing needs feedback to Management on weekly basis.
- Perform additional duties, as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Associate’s degree Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Skills : Critical thinker with strong interpersonal skills and skilled in sales, negotiations, problem-solving, time-management, organization, communication, and strong knowledge / experience of MS Office and the ability to work independently.

Years of Experience : Minimum of 3 years of commercial sales and / or in employee benefits sales and service.
License : Current State of Ohio HMO License and a valid Driver's License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Years of Experience : Minimum of 5 of commercial sales and / or in employee benefits sales and service
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands : Ability to transport marketing materials and supplies.
Travel : Utilizing personal transportation, travel independently throughout plan service area.
