Your Opportunity :
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide leadership and strong technical support for day to day operations of our Tulsa facility.
This goal will be achieved through the implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and software.
What you’ll be doing :
- Develop processes, procedures and supporting documentation to enhance cost, quality and customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with government regulations.
- Major drivers include productivity, material utilization, value engineering, lead time management, schedule attainment, and improved throughput.
- Provide support on equipment and software installs
- Define and develop systems and processes to improve manufacturability
- Identify potential software and hardware development items for new and existing processes
- Work with 3rd party developers and technicians to refine processes both physical and software related.
- Build relationships with internal and external vendors
- Provide manufacturing guidance to plant, engineering, and operational managers.
- Travel up to 30% of the time
Some things we think you should know :
The DOAS business unit is looking for a qualified individual with strong technical skills to lead a focused effort on manufacturing within our production facilities.
The organization aims to refine our manufacturing techniques and processes using both existing and new equipment. This person is expected to become a leading expert on manufacturing equipment, software, and processes.
What you should have :
- Work requires a professional level of knowledge in the field of sheet metal production and software development, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program in an Engineering discipline.
- Between 0-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- 4-year degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- SAP experience is required.
- Experience with sheet metal manufacturing methods.
- Intermediate CAD software experience such as Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Creo parametrics.
- Strong talent for learning new software and equipment interfaces.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Project Management Experience preferred
