General Summary :
The Welder position is responsible for setting, fitting, and welding various assemblies to be used in the construction of our air handling equipment.
This position is 1st shift and will work on our Tulsa Campus.
Shift : 7AM-3PM
Pay : $23.91
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Maintains a high focus on safety and quality within the department
Identify work to be performed via MII or SAP work center priority and access unit and assembly drawings
Reads and interprets blue prints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements (preferred)
Size up components and verify they are within specified tolerances
Set up weld equipment for specific task to be performed
Weld components using proper equipment and techniques
Grind and finish welds to make aesthetically appealing
Operate material handling equipment as needed, based on safety guidelines
Perform daily housekeeping tasks (5S) and preventative maintenance tasks
High level of focus and concentration level to ensure quality work and to avoid safety hazards
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
Between 6-12 months welding experience, required
Aluminum welding experience
Basic Math & Computer skills, required
Ability to pass welding test on material in use, required
Ability to safely operate equipment (welder, torch, plasma cutter, grinder, material handling equipment), required
Ability to operate basic hand / power tools and read measuring devices
Ability distinguish the various thickness and types of material
Strong attention to detail and high focus on safety and quality
Ability to communicate effectively
Physical Demands :
Must lift up to 50-75 lbs. on a routine basis
Stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc

Your Opportunity :
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide leadership and strong technical support for day to day operations of our Tulsa facility.
This goal will be achieved through the implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and software.
What you’ll be doing :
Develop processes, procedures and supporting documentation to enhance cost, quality and customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with government regulations.
Major drivers include productivity, material utilization, value engineering, lead time management, schedule attainment, and improved throughput.
Provide support on equipment and software installs
Define and develop systems and processes to improve manufacturability
Identify potential software and hardware development items for new and existing processes
Work with 3rd party developers and technicians to refine processes both physical and software related.
Build relationships with internal and external vendors
Provide manufacturing guidance to plant, engineering, and operational managers.
Travel up to 30% of the time
The DOAS business unit is looking for a qualified individual with strong technical skills to lead a focused effort on manufacturing within our production facilities.
The organization aims to refine our manufacturing techniques and processes using both existing and new equipment. This person is expected to become a leading expert on manufacturing equipment, software, and processes.
What you should have :
Work requires a professional level of knowledge in the field of sheet metal production and software development, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program in an Engineering discipline.
Between 0-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
4-year degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
SAP experience is required.
Strong understanding of Lean concepts.
Experience with sheet metal manufacturing methods.
Intermediate CAD software experience such as Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Creo parametrics.
Strong talent for learning new software and equipment interfaces.
SAP experience is preferred.
Project Management Experience preferred
