General Summary
The Director of Marketing and Product Development is responsible for leading brand and product marketing teams, developing and implementing brand and product strategies that align with strategic vision of Edge BU, and developing BU product pipeline efforts with a focus on new sales growth, product vitality and incremental margin gains.
This leadership role will be pivotal in shaping our company's marketing and product vision. Extensive experience in planning and establishing business objectives is required.
Additional requirements include but are not limited to the ability to performs a variety of tasks and lead and direct the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provides leadership to the Marketing & Product Development teams.
Creates, implements and oversees communication programs that effectively describe and promote Edge and its products.
Manages the research and development of content for publication of products.
Responsible for the development, execution and analysis of strategic marketing and advertising efforts to drive revenue, brand awareness and grow customer affinity.
Executes marketing communication plans using internal and external resources.
Provides clear objectives for growth, for the department and for direct reports.
Establishes KPIs on brand performance, creative campaigns, and product vitality.
Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes with the field for new products.
Works with the BU leadership team to formulate strategies and prioritize new products to take advantage of opportunities for growth.
Works closely with BU leadership to implement processes to attain growth goals and budgets.
Staffs, develops and coaches the design team, evaluates performance and initiates corrective action as required.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and all Company policies and procedures.
Provides the motivation and drive to the field and department to achieve goals.
Prepares various reports and performs other duties as required.
Job Specifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in product development, marketing, or sales.
Working knowledge in a variety of sales and manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred experience and knowledge with UFP’s organization, culture, product lines and production capacity.
Demonstrated ability to integrate marketing messages into print, packaging, point of sale, television / video, radio and web / interactive.
Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels, customers, and the public.
Demonstrated ability to manage several activities or projects at once, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare plans and budgets.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and business-related software.

Compensation & Benefit Information :
Yearly pay $180-$210K depending on geographical location and experience
Bonus / Incentive Pay
Position eligible for quarterly bonus; with an additional discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.

Retail Web Systems Administrator

The Retail Web Systems Administrator works with Customers and Departments throughout the company to support the UFP Retail B2B Customer Portal.
This role will research and support the administration of the B2B Portal and develop processes to create efficiencies by utilizing the company's business systems and resources.
Works under the general direction of the UFP Retail Ecommerce Team; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis;
and a degree of creativity is required.
Location : May work remotely or out of any UFP location.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Creates project plans to refine business processes to develop, implement, and train on the new processes
Become an expert in ecommerce store configuration (Oro Commerce and Shopify)
Assists in the coordination of inter-system data flow and connectivity that is necessitated by building on numerous ecommerce platforms
Analyzes business processes to expose areas of improvement
Assists in coordination of web content management
Become familiar with add-on tools such as Avalara and Shipstation which work in conjunction with ecommerce platforms to automate things like sales tax and shipping rates at checkout
Assists in maintaining software through documenting, submitting and testing enhancement request and reporting software bugs
Responsible for website management and optimization concepts such as text content, image delivery and optimization, accessibility, testing, authentication / authorization, usage analytics, search engine optimization, A / B testing
Works with UFP’s brands to understand internal and external customer needs as they relate to the UFP Retail B2B Customer Portal
Assists in the prioritization of requests from the various brand’s and stakeholders; identifies and manages resource conflicts
Triage system issues related to B2B portal
Trains internal and external users of varying technical skills to utilize the B2B Portal
Prepares various reports as required
Performs other duties as required
Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or other related field (Preferred)
3-5 years of experience in UFP’s business systems, or related external organization systems experience
Extremely familiar with general web and ecommerce usage (utilizes the web often)
Understands the difference between web content creation and web development
Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Oro Commerce or Shopify is beneficial; otherwise a candidate must possess a strong willingness to learn them
Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP's organization and culture (internal)
Ability to build relationships across UFP's organization and embrace company culture (external)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Components including Excel, Teams, Word and Outlook.
Must complete partner platform training as required and engage with the Business Analyst team

Job Summary
Truck Driver is responsible for the operation of commercial vehicles in excess of 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight, to deliver goods to customers and operations, and to pick up material from vendors and other operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Safely drives on the road delivering products in various weather conditions
Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection sheets
Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating conditions checks oil and fuel prior to leaving the yard
Secures load and / or inspects load to ensure has been properly secured
Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, DOT and Company rules
Conducts preventive maintenance to truck and ensures truck is clean
Maintains appropriate driving records, logs, and shipping documents as required
Maintains radio / telephone and EOB Electronic On-Board System contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or to be dispatched to new locations
Verifies shipping documents for accuracy, and obtains customer’s signature on paperwork upon delivery
Completes paperwork as required
May operate a forklift to load / unload trailers as required
Follows forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy
Completes training as required by management
Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings
Performs other duties as required

Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age
Minimum 12th grade basic education completed

Working knowledge of vehicle parts, and how to handle minor repairs to ensure equipment is in proper operating conditions
Required to have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Job Summary
A Fabrication Welder sets up raw material components, primarily aluminum materials, per blueprint drawings and operates portable welding machine through application of appropriate welding techniques.
Fabrication Welders weld Endurable aluminum products including balconies, canopies, sunshades, privacy screens along with other miscellaneous products.
Fabrication Welder also may weld steel products including knife plates, seat plates, tie rods, brackets, and other various steel products.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Set up materials to be welded using jigs and clamps to correct positions and alignments following blueprints and layout specifications using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and tape measures.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions to form complete products or sub-component products.
Operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using appropriate welding gas and welding techniques for raw materials : aluminum or steel. (Mig and Tig Welding)
Recognize, set up and operator hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
Verify conformance of welded product to specifications using squares, tape measures and other inspection equipment as appropriate.
Ability to detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials during processing and notify leads and / or supervisors.
Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansions of materials.
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials required and process sequencing.
Complete paperwork and identify finished materials and move products into position manually with carts, hoists, or cranes for next processing operation.
Wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) required by Endurable, and always work safely.
