Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) for Navy and Marine F-35 test aircraft at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. The successful applicant will provide Flight Test Ground and Flight Operations engineering support. Duties will include coordination and execution of pre-flight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft's test readiness. This includes issuance and closure of documentation relating to work performed on the aircraft and coordination of aircraft modification. Position is also responsible for control and tracking of aircraft configuration, coordinating and staging of support equipment, and coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness. The FTCE is the primary liaison between aircraft maintenance and engineering, communicating aircraft test configuration to responsible engineers and flight operations.
