The primary role of the demand planner is to develop a demand forecast. This position is a key driver in managing the customer and consumer demand signals to align commercial and supply chain activity. This is a critical role in the S&OP process as order fulfillment and inventory plans rely on this information. The demand planner will work using the Blue Ridge planning system and data insights to improve forecast accuracy. This person is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of a demand forecast and work with other functional teams to develop a consensus forecast plan.
