The Office is seeking an experienced data analyst to work collaboratively with the leadership and staff on quantitative and qualitative data collection, data cleaning and management, analysis, data visualization and reporting, and general communications for immediate and long-term EVI initiatives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
Data Analyst Responsibilities :
Ongoing Assessment and Data Analysis of Office of EVI Initiatives
Design and develop databases, including cleaning and management of data
Develops IRBs and data gathering protocols and data dictionaries
Plans and implements data analyses including data cleaning, management, coding and regression modeling
Meticulously organizes and stores data and research protocols and ensures that all study details are documented and protected in accordance with established procedures and requirements
Writes custom coding using statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS or STATA)
Prepares data visualizations and reports for presentations and documents
Develop and maintain a faculty Demographics Dashboard, which will include advancement and wellness indicators
Improve data acquisition and utilization that compliments the Office’s tools and initiatives
Assist in design and implementation of innovative assessment tools to measure effect of interventions
Synthesize and align multiple data sources to inform and drive strategic initiatives through reporting
Active participation in Office of EVI strategic planning process, progress reporting, and ongoing work
Other data analysis as needed
Physician Wellness Academic Consortium (PWAC) survey
Data Management and AnalysisManage and maintain large confidential multi-year datasetsPerform data analysis as needed to supplement survey vendor analysesLink PWAC data set with prior year data and other data sources to support survey implementation and analysesCollaborate with survey vendor to establish most cost-effective and efficient data analysis and management strategiesCollaborate with research partners regarding survey data analysis
Reporting and CommunicationAssist with thematic analysis and trending for engagement with clinical leadersAssist team with data reporting and configuration, including intuitive visual representations of data, for internal and external communication, scholarship, and manuscript development
Survey DevelopmentProvide data analysis and management expertise for future survey developmentContribute to IRB proposals with respect to data management analysis and expertiseContribute to data analysis planning for future surveys

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION :
Master’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health or other relevant field; ideally with relevant work experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :
None
EXPERIENCE :
Three years of relevant experience is required, including :
Experience with quantitative data management and analysis
Experience working with confidential, sensitive and / or IRB-protected data
Experience with qualitative data collection, coding, and analysis desired but not required
Knowledge and experience with data dashboards and data visualization
Experience or interest in faculty development, policy, and program implementation desired but not required
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior work and in-depth knowledge of Excel, and statistical programming software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata)
Ability to manipulate large data sets and clean data
Data management and maintenance of standard data reports
Interest in equity, diversity, vitality and inclusion content
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Demonstrated experience in managing concurrent complex projects
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, deal with constant change, and participate in continual process improvement
Effectively communicate project progress and updates to team members and stakeholders
