Education and / or Experience
At least two years of licensed driving experience or have a passing grade on the Coaching the Experienced Driver self-study course.
Language Skills
Ability to read two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak to customers and helpers.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to plan daily route coverage.
Clerical / Mathematics Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, distance, and American money.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Drivers license to operate trucks of the type used by location. Clear MVR report. Successfully completed The Salvation Army Road Test.

Hearing abilities include the use of two-way radio.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment for this position includes truck and warehouse environments which reflect the temperature and humidity of the outdoors.
Compensation : $16 / hr.
