Freestyle Innovation Center Program Manager
As a support member of the Coca-Cola Company Freestyle Innovation Center, Capabilities & PMO team, the Program Manager will lead and manage all aspects of a project that may be part of a larger program, which may or may not be global. Project Management may include creating the needed processes, operating models, designs and technology to enable effective and efficient implementation of the program. The Program Manager will leverage best-in-class systems and processes for collaborative planning and execution. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully integrating and driving a broad array of strategies and action programs to significantly improve collaborative planning, productivity/cost, service and quality. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects and programs on schedule and on budget with features agreed to by the end customers. Successful demonstration of managing this triple constraint is a key requirement of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage project management tools and processes to lead and manage projects; Administering a stage-gate process including but not limited to: Project Charter; Project Plans; Project Sponsors; Status routines; Change and Decision Logs; Reporting, Risk Management and Communications
Prepares and maintains project plans including Scope, Quality, Risk, Communication, Procurement, Resources, Integration, and Time Management plans.
Tracks activities against a milestone-based plan and provides regular and accurate status reports and schedule updates
Lead the planning and execution of the strategy to design and deliver the Program within required cost, quality, requirements and specifications. Ensure all required stakeholders are included in the strategy.
Compile all relevant existing data to communicate the strategy. Design and implement data gathering (rather than formal research) programs to close information gaps.
Manage cross functional teams across Freestyle and, including several of the following external partners: research & innovation, supply chain, service, marketing, communications, legal, finance, customer teams and bottlers as required.
Steward Project with Sponsors and Stakeholders. Identify and partner with other Freestyle Project and Program Managers to integrate and balance work streams to maximize use of resources.
Steward development of capabilities for commercialization/ implementation of project.
Manage and steward TCCC relationships with key business partners if necessary (Internal Suppliers, 3rd Party Supply Partners and other Partners as needed by the program).
Prepare and maintain project plans including Scope, Quality, Risk, Communication, Procurement, Staffing, Integration, and Time management plans. Track activities against a milestone-based plan and provides regular and accurate status reports and schedule updates.
Develop and share best practices for leadership of complex innovation programs within the system
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree (focus on engineering, process engineering or computer science).
PMP certification desirable.
Related Work Experience:
7+ years’ experience as a project manager.
3+ years’ experience with embedded design (hardware, software and mechanical systems).
5+ years’ experience in the practice of requirements engineering according to a product development life cycle in a team environment.
Consumer electronics or consumer appliances experience is strongly preferred.

Project Management Knowledge: Utilizes tools and standard project management processes to manage program scope, schedule, budgets, risks and resources.
Project Management Execution: Independently manages multiple and or highly complex projects, across multiple initiatives with varying time horizons. Projects will have an impact far beyond their immediate objective and require advanced critical path management. Identifies risk and is accountable for delivering the finished equipment, software, etc. across the system.
Resource Planning: Manages shared resources across complete projects and ensures timing and availability of resources are in place for project success.
Comprehensiveness: Monitors, inspects, and/or manages medium to large complex programs/ projects for completeness, compatibility, compliance with engineering principles and design needs and standards. Monitors budgets and/or schedules.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with all Business and Technical Functions, including Marketing, Suppliers, and Bottling partners.
Change Management: Ability to identify and resolve project/program changes. Develops, communicates, and defends moderately complex programs/projects. Ensures program/project stays within budget and/or schedule.
Professional Knowledge: Good base understanding on Innovation stage-gated processes and software development lifecycles – including Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Process engineering skills is preferred.
