Security Administrator
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect
systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Interfaces with the user community,
which includes the Associations. Understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain
optimum security. Requires familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and user access
mechanisms. Collaborates with system owners to conduct accurate evaluation of the level of system
security required on assigned systems. Weighs business needs against security concerns and
articulates issues to management.
Administers identity and access management system and performs all procedures necessary to
ensure the safety of information systems assets. Timely and accurately completes new user access
and access changes request from A First and its affiliates, ensure request are properly authorized.
Researches, corrects, and replies timely and accurately to issues submitted via CSC tickets in
agreement with the banks operating level agreement.
Works closely with bank project managers to make recommendations on the appropriate security
required for successful implementation. Responsible for implementation of changes required based
on the project assignments. This may include evening and weekend involvement.
Maintains security system integrity. Determines and develops appropriate security reports and
logging to monitor security violations per established IT Security controls. Enforces security policies
and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviewing security violation reports,
and investigating security exceptions.
Serves as a technical security resource on Security Administration's department projects and
implementations.
Plays supporting role in internal and external audit projects including, but not limited to : FISAP; SOC;
SOX; FCA; ACA audits. Provides timely and accurate response to auditor
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent work
experience
Prior Work
Experience 3-5 years of experience in technical services, networking, or security
administration.
Certifications Security+, MCSA, or other related entry to mid-level industry standard certifications
are preferred.
Other Skills and
Abilities
Two years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory (ADJ, including role-based
security, GPO design and deployment, AD security architecture for a medium to
large organization.
Excellent oral and written communications
Ability to express to the users technical information in a non-technical manner.
Excellent planning, analytical, decision making, and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, handle stressful situations, and strong team focus and
interpersonal skills.
