The person hired in this role will ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. They will also participate in technical and non-technical projects requiring information security oversight and to ensure policies, procedures and standards are met. In addition, they will serve as an additional security team member, aiding in incident response (IR). What You’ll Work On Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes in tandem with architects and system engineers. Responsible for defining improvements to the program, and implementing new technologies, tools, metrics, and standards. Secure business applications and computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures. Maintain a consistent, secure environment using configuration management solutions (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.). Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems and security configuration administration to reduce risk to enterprise systems and accounts. Deploy strong identity and access management (IDAM) controls across applications and computing environments. Apply learned knowledge across key lines of business, including products, practices and procedures. Act as a key figure in incident response to track occurrence and resolution, with strict documentation and reporting as well as engagement with security operations and incident response teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum 5 year's work experience in software and / or security areas. Progressively more responsible work experience in a range of software engineering disciplines using a variety of programming methods. Experience working in a broader enterprise / cross-division business unit model preferred. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Ability to leverage and / or engage others to accomplish projects. Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally. Position Description : Lead a Project Management Team, in accordance with LACCD program policies. Organize, direct, train, and manage a Project Management team ranging in size from 4 to 8 people. Manage and execute 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity up to $50+M. Coordinate with various District and program stakeholders to successfully plan and execute projects Successfully deliver a variety project types (i.e., construction, infrastructure, IT, landscape, etc.) on schedule and within budget. Track, address and resolve all project issues in a timely manner. Review, negotiate, and process all change order requests per LACCD's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Review and develop design and construction contract documents in collaboration with other stakeholders at the PMO.
