Job Summary :
The Tier 2 Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a vital role in our accounting team, primarily focusing on resolving complex issues identified by our Tier 1 Accounts Receivable clerks in our business-to-business collections process.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the accounts receivable process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to business-to-business collections, as identified by Tier 1 Accounts Receivable Clerks.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and management regarding collection issues and resolutions.
- Work closely with the accounts receivable team to identify, report, and resolve any inconsistencies or discrepancies in billing and payment.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency of the accounts receivable process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection efforts.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and forecasts relating to accounts receivable for management.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and resolution in a business-to-business collections context.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
