Job Summary and Qualifications
Oversees community relations activities for HCA North Texas division including community outreach,health education,sponsorships, and events.
Develops proactive community relations strategy to ensure alignment with corporate and department goals. Works collaboratively with strategic communications team to create and find meaningful healthcare related community activities to mirror the organization's goals and values.
Maintains positive relationships with internal constituents and external media and community to facilitate communication.
Provides support for corporate communications activities and events.

Maintains positive relationships with internal constituents and external media and community to facilitate communication.
Providessupport for corporate communications activities and events.
In coordination with AVP of PR and Media Communications, hospital-based PR / community directors and the hospital CEO, collaborates with the hospital-based PR / community director to implement division strategy related to public and community relations, internal communication and events.
Creates and finds meaningful healthcare-related community activities in the defined service area that complement the organization's goals.
Develops and coordinates events and programs in coordination with Division and hospital goals.
- Researches, develops and manages new programs / initiatives to support the hospital and division's public relations and community involvement.
- Assists in coordinating division-wide participation in sponsorships, donations, community volunteer initiatives and manages benefit assessment of same.
- Maintains relationships with program partners, ISDs, and other constituents.
- Represents HCA North Texas and / or identifies individuals to represent HCA North Texas for community activities where it has been determined such participation is beneficial to the organization.
- Uses social media tools in coordination with hospital PR / community director and marketing team to increase visibility, membership, and traffic for the hospital, its brand and services.
- Arranges for and produces still photos and videos to supplement news releases, publications, social media and internal communication.
- Contributes and helps manage the employee newsletter, website content updates and collateral creation.
- Establishes metrics and reports on community impact and benefit.
What qualifications you will need :
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and / or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
