Project Manager
Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Sacramento, CA .
The responsibilities of the Project Manager will include :
- Interacts directly with the owner(s) on a daily basis.
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project(s) and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate staff, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Responsible for administering the project from budgeting / schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit / loss responsibility for assigned project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree plus eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
- A valid US driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- 15 years full time paid professional experience in Project / Construction Management of Commercial and / or Public / Educational Facility Construction with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects.
- 5 years’ experience in managing projects for an educational institution or public agency.
- Full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values in excess of $30M- $50M (not cumulative).
- Design Build Experience.
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and / or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS).
- Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction / design processes.
- Safety and OSHA Safety Regulations (OSHA 30 minimum)10.10 A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The salary range for this position is $122,820-$195,019.
