Disney Enterprise Technology (DET) is responsible for technology strategy and management, central engineering, architecture, IT and technical operations for TWDC.
In addition to supporting the digital products of the company, DET also provides back-of-house services for the company, from the network layer on up.
This includes providing a comprehensive set of technologies (Digital Experience, DX) to support the day-to-day productivity and collaboration of the workforce, not just to deliver products and experiences, but also to build a culture of sharing and innovation across business segments, time zones, and countries contributing to a more productive, engaged, and creative workforce.
The Enterprise Technology Digital Experience organization is seeking a Product Manager that will drive transformation and full deployment management of our collaboration services, meeting tools and digital workplace technology at Disney.

What you will be doing
The Digital Experience (DX) Product Management organization manages a strategic portfolio of products and services used by the cast members and employees of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC).
Products include collaboration devices, conferencing applications and solutions, service management solutions, audio-visual platforms and various products that allow TWDC business units’ workforce to be creative, productive, and efficient.
DX Product Management team works across TWDC with other technology teams and business leaders to ensure that the products and services are integrated successfully into their businesses.
The DX Product Management team defines architectural strategy, develops roadmaps, and provides end to end service management accountability for products and services within the DX portfolio.
As part of these efforts, DX Product Management partners closely with Global Information Security (GIS) to understand, plan and comply with TWDC Information Security, Compliance, Data Privacy and Data Retention policies.
In addition, act as policy lobbyists on behalf of DX by proactively inserting themselves into policy change proceedings in partnership with GIS and Executive leadership, in order to influence strategic direction and clearly articulate business challenges.
DX Product Management works closely with Management Audit to perform annual audits of critical platforms in support of leadership objectives.
In this role, you will be a Product Manager for meeting and collaboration services with our Enterprise Technology Digital Experience team :
- Leads, optimizes and operationalizes activities and procedures supporting the day-to-day work necessary for supporting our Connected Workspace service of meeting and collaboration tools across Disney, and designing and fulfilling automation to support the platform and its customers.
- Initiates and executes deployment readiness and maintains hardware / software currency activities, partnering with Engineering, Service Operations and Knowledge Management.
- Creates and owns a clear understanding of the program’s vision, objectives, scale and scope of work, expected outcomes, business value and impact, timelines, roadmaps.
- Develop documentation in partnership with engineering and architecture teams that include solution design packages, technical design reviews, operational readiness and reference material.
- Prioritizes and leads with practicality and wisdom in the midst of competing priorities and diverse personalities. Operates as an independent and dynamic program leader.
Highly adept at influencing without direct authority.
Utilizes highly developed communication skills to facilitate project and service-related conversations and presentations with technology senior leaders / managers / directors and peers;
driving tasks and objectives to completion across multiple supporting team.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in STEM discipline or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of digital service or product management experience in an enterprise environment
- Advanced IT experience including infrastructure design & implementation, application development, or systems work.
- Proficiency and deep awareness :
- Cisco collaboration devices; Desk, Board, Room series endpoints
- Microsoft Teams; video conferencing, meetings, live events
- Additional meeting platforms including Zoom
- Microsoft 365
- Workplace management and digital signage solutions (Appspace)
- Knowledge in conferencing and multimedia AV platforms (Crestron, Shure, Appspace, Vyopta, Synergy Sky)
- Automation toolsets including Service Now
- Understanding of different billing systems and integrations
- Experience overseeing lifecycle hardware and software refresh and currency projects
- Experience with solution design, configuration of new and existing conferencing and collaboration platforms for video conferencing solutions
- Advanced problem solving, decision making and business analysis skills
- Microsoft 365 Certification / Training Cisco CCNP or CCIE Collaboration Certification
The hiring range for this position in California is $112,586.00 to $151,030.00 per year and in Washington is $117,998.00 to $158,290.
00. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
