Written, in person and phone communication with employers and other referral sources as needed Responsible for year-round marketing to individuals and / or organizations that can increase therapy referrals into the clinics Understand the unique features, rules, and regulations, of the Workers Compensation system, OSHA, EEOC and ADAAA as they relate to patient care, working with uninjured employee population, working with employers, documentation, treatment and communication to ensure excellent outcomes for that patient population. Instructs, motivates, and assists clients to perform various physical activities, such as stretching programs and other activities designed for early intervention to prevent injuries. Completes all required documentation, charging and communication with all team members, internal and external, in a complete, efficient, and appropriate manner. They spend considerable time stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching. The Onsite Services Clinician may work outside, or in environments which may not be climate controlled. They may work in freezer or cooler areas and may work around machinery, along roadways, and / or around animals. They may also be exposed to chemicals. They also move heavy equipment. So, to guard against back injury, they must follow proper body mechanics and procedures for lifting / moving equipment. Position Summary Career Interest : The Occupational Therapist works as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
