Position Summary Career Interest : The Occupational Therapist works as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. They perform an individualized evaluation, design goal-directed customized interventions to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities, and periodically review the patient’s performance to ensure that the goals are being met and / or make changes to the intervention plan. May provide teaching for OT ED labs as requested, with assistance as needed. Supervises Level I students independently. Supervises Level II students after one year of clinical experience, with assistance from the Student Coordinator as needed. Meets all state requirements for continuing education with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (40 hours / biannually). Maintains current CPR certification. Follows all departmental procedures.
