Job Summary Looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead a popular New York City nightclub. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in managing nightlife venues and a proven track record of driving sales and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities : Oversee all aspects of the nightclub including staffing, promotions, marketing, and financial performance. Develop and execute strategies to improve revenue, attendance, and profitability. Recruit, train, and manage a team of bartenders, servers, and security personnel to provide exceptional customer service. Maintain and optimize inventory levels, ensuring that the nightclub is always well-stocked with supplies. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, promoters, and sponsors to drive partnerships and sponsorships. Continuously monitor and manage the nightlife scene, identifying trends, and adjusting the nightclub's offerings to stay competitive. Requirements : 5+ years of leadership experience (F&B Manager, AGM, GM) in high-volume, fast-paced environments (Sales over 10MM yearly) Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, attendance, and customer engagement. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Position Summary : Maintains the cleanliness, sanitary condition and safety of the venue. Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. Duties and Responsibilities : including but not limited to Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook. Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all employees. Ensures the maintenance, general cleanliness and orderliness of the venue and that walkways are swept, mopped and clear of debris. Proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens. Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player. Possesses in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, soaps and supplies. Possesses general knowledge of the venue. Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. Communicates product needs to the chefs and / or purchaser. Properly sets-up venue’s sanitation areas, performs side-work and other opening / closing procedures as directed by management, including : o Stocks station with prescribed supplies. o Performs opening side-work as prescribed. o Performs closing side-work as prescribed. Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management. Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable). Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings. Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example. Portrays a positive and professional attitude. Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners and supporting hotel environments. Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members. Training Requirements : Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Porter training, and food handling. Minimum Education and Qualifications : Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment : Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs. Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion. Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials. Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
