The Fluid Labs Group of the machinery technology and R&D branch at NSWC Philadelphia requires support for auxiliary and propulsion systems support and interfaces to other Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) systems, specifically valves, Cascade Orifical Resistive Devices (CORDs). This position will provide testing setup guidance and design support, as well as project engineering coordination for the test facilities. Principal Duties / Responsibilities : Prepare cost estimates for operational and flow related test planning, test execution, data analysis and preparing technical reports in support of Subsea and Seabed Warfare (SSW) component evaluation and other HM&E subsystem components. Provide test site design guidance, support test planning and scheduling, develop test procedures, support / attend test readiness reviews, collect and analyze test data. Complete documentation packages and provide oversite for all Mission Readiness Panels documentation and reviews to ensure compliance and light off of test facilities.
