Our engineers work in a dynamic environment where there are no limits on personal or professional growth. Job Summary : Shermco is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of multiple simultaneous projects related to the Industrial and Power Industries.
Candidate would work as part of project team(s) under Project Manager(s), and working with Project Coordinator, Cost Estimators, and Scheduler / Planners. Tasks include :
- Specification Development (Equipment Procurement, Construction Contractor, etc)
- Vendor Coordination
- P&ID (as applicable)
- Design Calculations
- Field Engineering as required
Candidate would be responsible for performing design in accordance with all local and national codes and regulations. Candidate shall be responsible for ensuring project proceeds in accordance with budget and schedule.
Project complexity will vary. Key Requirements Include :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Preferred Certifications : Professional Engineering License
Other :
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be willing to travel; minimum 40%.
