Overview :
Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing Strategy, the Director, Marketing is responsible for leading the development of regional and local marketing plans, representing each region / community in the development of ministry-wide marketing plans, as well as creating and implementing strategic community engagement plans in each region including strategic sponsorship and event strategy.
The director will serve as the point of contact for market assessments and service line trends, working with the service line strategy team to provide local leaders key stakeholder insights.
All efforts of the director will have a focus on driving patient growth and retention and building Mercy's reputation across the region.
The Director will be responsible for client relationship management in their region and communities, representing Integrated Marketing as an ambassador.
This position will work closely with local operational leadership and other teams within Integrated Marketing and the Office of Transformation to ensure coordination and prioritization of work efforts and reporting.
The leader will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.
Qualifications :
Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or similar area of study preferred
Experience Requirements :
- 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications or other leadership experience; demonstrated track record for success
- Minimum of five years of experience in building, supervising and mentoring a team
- Health care experience preferredSkill Requirements
