This position is responsible for planning the arrangement of equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive processes and layout utilizing lean manufacturing practices to drive change. PRIMARY DUTIES Identifies appropriate plating and finishing technologies creating a roadmap and capital plan for the Indianapolis facility Plans the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Directs the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance Documents and maintains process procedures, work instructions and tool drawings Reviews performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies Conducts root cause analysis for rejected or faulty parts.
