Position Summary
Come help create BoujieMana, a brand-new restaurant located in central San Diego! Sitting amongst apartments and office buildings, we will serve both the public, and provide support to TCWGlobal by preparing meals (basic catering style) 3 times a week for 125+ employees.
BoujieMana has it all a full bar, VIP room, indoor and outdoor seating, and a training / event center with a capacity of 120 people.
There is abundant nighttime and weekend parking, and while space is limited during office hours, there is still plenty of street parking.
The price point will be on the higher end with the restaurant’s commitment to utilizing quality ingredients and maintaining a curated menu for all three meals of the day.
We are looking for a dedicated, organized Dishwasher to join our team at BoujieMana. The dishwasher’s duties include washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment and preparation or production areas.
They will restock items, sweep and scrub floors, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
This individual should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Primary :
Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of BoujieMana
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment using dishwashers or by hand
Keep dishwasher clean and maintained, and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager
Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
Clean food preparation and production areas as required
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
Clean garbage cans with water or steam
Sweep and scrub floors
Receive and store supplies
Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement
Coordinate with, and assist, fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant
Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

We are looking for a personable, organized Server who will be responsible for taking orders from, and serving food to, our guests.
This individual will provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience. Server responsibilities include ensuring tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, serving food and beverages, and collecting payments.
This individual will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure, partnering with bussers, cooks, and other staff to ensure seamless service.
Each server’s primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return to BoujieMana time and time again.
Key Responsibilities
Primary :
Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Boujiemana
Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services
Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems
Take food or beverages orders from guests
Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
Write guests’ food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
Garnish and decorate dishes in preparation for serving
Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for guests, and chill bottles of wine
Describe and recommend wines to guests
Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses and pour the wine for guests
Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
Collect payments from guests
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining
Assist the host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests
Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom
Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiments, and napkin containers
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
Coordinate with, and assist, fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant
Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

Answer phones : Respond to questions from students, current health coaches and other requests via phone as needed
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues tracking data for the organization in Vtiger (CRM)
Execute physical mailings and emails to health coaches & students in courses
Responsible for email / phone call payment reminders for clients who are due and past due for certification renewals and website renewals
Process annual certification renewals and send refresher course access as needed
Coordinate with CA warehouse on shipping of physical orders
Process digital material orders and verify access as needed.
Send all refresher course / eCoaching access information communications to coaches
Manage the eCoaching program, including access to courses and platforms, building platforms, enrolling clients and updates
