OVERVIEW OF JOB Manages and oversees janitorial services specialized in restaurant and kitchen equipment cleaning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Establish professional customer relationships and customer retention through sustaining high service levels in accordance with the customer contract and KBS policies. Meet with and communicate regularly with customers. Manage and develop vendors; maintain regular calls and quick response to questions, escalations, and extras. Establish excellent relations with vendors (maintain thorough knowledge of vendor offerings and limitations, to include accountability) manage delivery of services to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and implement plans for efficient use of vendors, materials, and equipment. Ensure adherence to all company’s policies, procedures and customer contracts. Monitor the adherence and implementation of safety and related programs. Provide weekly reports with various metric system to ensure productivity and controlled customer service. Perform quality control inspections (site inspections) through insuring vendors are held accountable for executing their scope of work. Recruiting and orientation of new and current vendor base. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Janitorial / Custodian / Building maintenance and Restaurant cleaning. Vendor management and negotiation. OSHA related safety regulations and especially the use of chemicals. General janitorial knowledge of machines and equipment. Management and leadership in directing the work of others and gaining trust and respect. Management reporting and time management. Basic MS Office applications, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Company Operating Software. Night Shift Shop Janitorial Helper (Temp-to-Hire) Pay : $11.50-$13.00 + $1.00 for every hour worked for night shift Location : Houston 77032 Shift : 2 : 30pm-11pm, 4 : 30pm-2 : 30am, or 6pm-6am (depending on need) Gather trash, take it to the dumpster(s) Sweep shop and shavings around the machines and put them in the proper recycle bins. Clean machines when needed. Move material around as needed. Some grinding for deburring of metal products using a portable electric grinder, sanding paper, etc. Some light touch-up painting. Gather and recycle the used absorbent pads (oils and waters from machines), used hydraulic oils / waters from machines, grinding sludge from machines. Place material in 55-gallon drums for staging before pick up. Must be safety conscious and wear appropriate gloves and PPE. Steel toe boots required.
