Minutes away from Orlando, La Amistad Behavioral Health Services is set in quiet, residential areas in Maitland and Winter Park, Florida.
We treat individuals ranging from children and adolescents to adults. We have treatment programs for psychiatric issues, chemical dependency issues, and dual diagnosis for those suffering from both.

House Keeper (full time position)
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean environment on all the residential units, the learning center, the multi-purpose building and the administrative offices.
Essential Job Duties :
- Cleans residential rooms and baths ensuring all patient areas are disinfected and meet property standards
- Handles linens and personal clothing items in accordance with appropriate Infection Control Policies
- Disposes of trash daily
- Vacuums all carpets daily, vacuums upholstery as needed
- Demonstrates Service Excellence w / Internal & External Customers
- Washes windows, inside and outside of facilities
- Completes detail cleaning daily
- Is knowledgeable of and complies with the Quality Improvement Monitor of the department
- Follows Hazardous Materials procedure for infectious diseases
- Attends and participates in all departmental meetings
Qualifications
Job Requirements :
- Education : High School education or GED preferred.
- Years of experience needed : Minimum one (1) year in healthcare environment preferred
- License / Certification : N / A
- Skills : Must be able to operate mechanical equipment used in the laundry and housekeeping department. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
- Physical Requirements : Must be able to walk, stand, stoop and climb for periods up to eight (8) hours
