Hill Country is a tribute to the traditional Central Texas barbecue experience, Southern Hospitality and the artistry of Downtown Austin. We serve freshly smoked meats every single day, along with our rotating menu of seasonal sides, specials, and desserts! We are looking for hosts to join our team! Hosts ideally have at least 1 year of experience, but we are willing to train the right individual. Experience using Sevenrooms or another reservation software is a plus! Expectations & Responsibilities : Offer warm, caring, and friendly hospitality and attention to every guest. Welcome and seat guests, manage reservations, and answer phone calls and questions Give guests the Hill Country Tour, including introducing them to our counter service style, describing our menu, and walking them through the space. Input and manage reservations on Sevenrooms, including updating table status, messaging guests on the waitlist, and accurately logging notes, tags, and other information. Job Summary : The Host or Hostess's basic function is to welcome, greet and seat guests in a gracious, accommodating, and professional manner, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
