Facility Attendant 45 views Job Description Facility Attendant Tampa, FL Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining facility building, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly and functional condition. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary and reports to the Site Coordinator. This position will have mandatory overtime. General Duties : Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware. Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds. Dusts furniture and equipment. Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills. Replace batteries in hand dispensers & automatic toilet flushers. Refill coffee supplies in common space areas Clean and sanitize coffee machines. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, conference rooms, and work areas, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels, and soap Covid -19 sanitize doorknobs, elevator buttons, printers & frequently touched surfaces Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; moves equipment and furniture such as tables and chairs back in their designated area. Requests supply orders and distributes custodial supplies; maintains inventory. Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures. Supervises and reports building issues to Site Coordinator / Facilities Manager. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications : This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
