Primary duties will be in support of analyzing and modeling industry impacts to PSaS. As a key financial liaison, the Financial Analyst will partner with the various team members across the FP&A and Pricing teams.
This role will report directly to the Director of Strategic Finance.Key ResponsibilitiesModel generation of key business drivers for strategic planning.
May include and is not limited to analyses on market trends, product movement, and on boarding of new customer contractsAd-Hoc analysis explaining business changes, candidates need to be able to think thru problems presented to management and determine what analysis answers their questionsRegularly review financial results and provide excellent analytics, accurate and clear variance explanations to FP&A Management and key business leadersClear and concise documentation of key assumptions and processesPrepares reports and projections based on analysesProvide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior managementMaintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up dataAid in enhancing existing forecast models and processesContributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as neededAssist or prepare reporting packages that analyze variances and key business driversRecommend, develop, and implement process improvements as requiredMinimum Qualifications Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experienceCritical Skills2-3 years combined experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or corporate development and strategyExcellent Excel i.
e. Pivot Tables, lookups and macros as well as PowerPoint skills. Power BI experience is not necessary but recommendedAbility to navigate through large datasets with multiple hierarchiesExperience forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling, and the ability to present and communicate financial results effectivelyStrong business acumen to perform financial trend and variance analysisAdditional Knowledge & SkillsMS Excel & MS PowerPoint;
