Finance Senior Manager
About this role :
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Senior Manager to support Small Business. This opportunity will allow someone to serve in a leadership role to provide strategic support to the leaders of the team to have financial transparency, increase profitability, and implement strategies to build value proposition for investments.
This individual should have a history of supporting multiple partners, presenting executive level presentations, and developing teams.
The candidate for this role should also be able to drive direction and solve complex problems by taking end-to-end responsibility and initiative to identify areas with opportunity for improvement, engaging individuals from cross-functional teams, understanding root causes, generating new ideas, and tracking progress toward goals.
In this role, you will :
- Provide strategic leadership and support for the Small Business Relationship Management and Acquisition delivery channel teams as well as Strategy & Administrative support teams
- Develop and enhance business analytics and metrics to support business strategies and decision making to drive improved financial outcomes and identification of improvement opportunities
- Prepare and present executive-level presentations to advise leadership on views and issues with high impact on the success of the Small Business delivery channels
- Provide financial advice and guidance for the Small Business strategic plan, including the annual technology initiative planning process
- Provide expense support for recovery and resolution planning
- Proactively work with partnering teams outside of Small Business Finance such as other channel finance teams, Wholesale Lending Operations, and Compensation to determine best practices, and ensure integration
- Lead efforts to focus on automating / streamlining processes - introducing new ideas and challenging the status quo where appropriate
- Work within the Small Business Finance team as areas directly supported integrate with product and FP&A teams
- Directly manage and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications, US :
- 6+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management experience

- Excellent ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats to senior leaders
- Detail oriented; ability to translate strategy into actionable steps across teams
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence and lead change
- Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions
- Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships, promoting teamwork, and influencing others
- P&L financial management and forecasting experience
- Personal accountability for achievement of results
- BS in Finance, Accounting or another quantitative field
Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Annual
