The Financial Analyst is responsible forproviding support in the development of the annual budget and the maintenance of the Asset / Liability Management (ALM) model.
Also supports the processfor producing the budget variance reports and completing meeting packages for the Pricing and Management ALCO Committees.
Adds value to the Credit Union by providingaccurate information and timely reporting related to the finance functions.
Responsibilities :
- Assists in the development and coordination of the annual budget and the creation of budget reports.
- Provides support to the ALM modeling and reporting.
- Assist, as directed by department leadership, in the Profitability process.
- Assists in the production of non-interest income and operating expense budget variance reports.
- Assists department managers with research as needed and follow through for the completion of the variance explanations.
- Assists in calculating deposit rate changes based on established pricing strategy and rate survey data.
- Assists in compiling reports and completing the various Committee Meeting packages.
- Assists in compiling reports and completing the Management ALCO Meeting packages.
- Assists in data gathering for audits, studies, and analyses as needed.
- Treats co-workers and members with respect.
- Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
Qualifications :
- 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience in finance
- Good Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial statement and analysis
- Proficient in in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial institution experience
Education :
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

- Southern California : $24.74 - $30.92
- Alaska : $25.73 - $32.17
- Arizona : $22.53 - $28.16
- Florida : $21.31 - $26.64
- Nevada : $23.08 - $28.85
- Texas : $21.65 - $27.06
- Washington : $26.40 - $32.99
The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, job related training / education, etc.
