Your New Role
The Group FP&A team plays a key role in in adding value to Warner Bros. Discovery, with a primary focus of ensuring the integrity of Financial Management Reporting and driving insights that support the management decision-making process.
The FP&A Manager is an integral member of this team, leading the analysis of our Networks segment, which includes the US Domestic Nets, International Nets, and CNN Worldwide.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for building an internal network to effectively partner with our business unit finance teams to consolidate the Nets financials and KPIs.
This role will be expected to work independently with various partners across finance to deliver thoughtful forecasts and variance analyses in their assigned areas.
This role requires the candidate to be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and tight deadlines during critical FP&A delivery periods.
A successful candidate will be able to navigate an ever changing, dynamic environment with a positive attitude and seek opportunities to drive efficient processes and challenge the status quo.
This role will report to the VP Corporate Performance Management
Your Role Accountabilities
Oversee the consolidation of the Nets Segment for key reporting time periods (monthly forecast, quarter end close, and budget)
Proactively identify, recommend, and drive improvements in existing models and processes
Analyze forecast information to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and develop key storylines
Contribute to the preparation and analysis of the consolidated annual budget and forecasts, including the accompanying senior management presentations
Actively work with key stakeholders, operating groups, and finance team members to improve the effectiveness of the financial planning process, assumptions, and results
Organized, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment with multiple stakeholders
Understand WBD’s Finance Systems and contribute recommendations in on-going S4 project
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in an ambiguous environment
Provide high-quality (ad-hoc) analysis to Senior Finance Leadership
Improve operational insight generation by selecting and reporting on key business drivers explaining the why’
Qualifications & Experience
5 - 8 years in FP&A roles in a large corporate, or relevant experience in investment banking
Bachelor or equivalent degree, or evidence of on-the-job training in similar skills
Entertainment / Digital Media experience a big plus
Strong process management, incl. complex cross-company processes requiring input from multiple business and finance leaders
Prior experience in a consolidation role
High energy and sense of urgency in completing all tasks; proactive and enthusiastic to streamlining processes
Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize time
Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Excel

The Legal Bits
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required.
$84,000.00 - $156,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
