Through clinical excellence and cutting-edge research, SCRI is redefining cancer care around the world.As an Executive Assistant at Sarah Cannon you will perform executive duties for senior level Director, Vice President or other Executive positions.
Duties include but are not limited to : Performs complex administrative duties including responding for executive when he / she is unavailable, composing correspondence, and coordinating resources across corporate functionsCoordinates and maintains executive and senior management schedules and communicationsCommunicates and escalates unresolved issues to appropriate department headProvides proactive and creative recommendations to enhance the efficiency and quality of workCoordinates, maintains and continuously updates executive’s calendarSchedules and maintains executive’s task listReviews executive correspondence for urgent issues and immediately reports to executivePerforms special projects as requested by executive staff or department headServes as the liaison between executive and pharmaceutical companies, Sarah Cannon colleagues and all outside contactsCreates and updates presentationsMay assist with editing and submitting manuscripts, abstracts, articles and other publicationsCreates and submits expense reportsAttends meetings as assigned and reports on actionsParticipates in educational activities and programs where appropriateMaintains strictest confidentialityQualifications : 3+ years administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environmentExperience working with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast paced, high stress environment is essentialAbout Sarah Cannon Research InstituteSarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a subsidiary of McKesson, is one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials.
