As a Project Planner you will be an integral member of the project core team collaborating with multiple Sub-System Managers, owner of time management topic for your area, providing proper time management information to support decision making to reach expected OTD performance of the project (tender, contract or program execution).
You will be working to develop and maintain the project schedule (internal) for your area while facilitating the synchronization of internal stakeholders.
Some of your key responsibilities will include :
- Analyzing and contributing to the schedule management requirements of the Senior PrPM and / or Sub-System Manager
- Defining tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tender
- Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule and propose the optimization & mitigation actions
- Collaborating on the project strategy in compliance with the requirements defined
- Building the project schedule based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders
- Ensuring the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments, and managing the schedules interfaces
- Providing a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
- Identifying potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
To be successful, you will work to meet a number of key performance indicators on your assigned projects, including on time delivery of all requested tender and project deliverables requested to fulfill RFP requirements, and schedule analysis for decisions by the Project Team calling out critical paths for main milestones, planning risks, standard metrics measuring schedule robustness.
The projects you work on will have meaningful impact on our projects, and by ensuring that those who use our systems have an exceptional experience.
These projects ensure that the trains run on time, and run safely every day.
Required Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of professional experience project planning, project scheduling or project management
- At least 3 years of experience working with Primavera P6
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proven experience in manufacturing or other industrial industry
- Knowledge of different scheduling tools
- Basic overall knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the Sub-System
- Agility to juggle with schedules simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals
- Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
- Conflict management and multi-tasking
- Critical path management
Education :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, business or related field
- Equivalent Combination of education and Experience may be considered
