Deployment Planner
We are currently looking for a Deployment Planner to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
This position is open to being fully remote.

- Manage total movement of finished goods across the GP network to meet customer demand at the least cost option
- Analyze the complexities of systems settings and recommendations, applying independent decision-making to balance cost and service
- Identify gaps in product balance and formulate a plan to resolve
- Use a high level of influence with cross-functional partners to make comprehensive decisions
- Manage out-of-stock, quality, and critical receipt information
- Analyze system-generated alerts and applies independent recommendations and insights to make decisions
- Work to protect case fill performance without negatively impacting freight cost
- Cross-functionally partner with Dixie plants, supply planners, transportation, RDC staff, customer planning, and customer service
- Focus on improving and maintaining KPIs such as Intermodal utilization, Truckload utilization, Customer Case Fill, ORTEC utilization and reducing Premium Freight cost
- Recommend process and system upgrades to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of deployment processes as well as recommend cost savings ideas to increase ROC
- Support the Planner and Deployer onboarding processes
- Execute special internal projects as needed throughout the year (examples are upgrades to processes)
- Representing the Deployment Team in meetings and cross-functional project teams Who You Are
- Experience in supply chain planning, deployment, scheduling, inventory management, or customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, MS Team and Outlook What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree or higher within a Supply Chain or Business related field
- Experience in a manufacturing / operations production facility environment
