ABOUT THE ROLE The successful candidate will demonstrate strength in the ability to project manage and work with team members collaboratively across integrated PR, marketing and communications projects.
This role is specifically for a large food & beverage client account. This role will support the client’s New Restaurant Advisors in ensuring execution of all marketing and public relations activities during new restaurant openings - including but not limited to overseeing all activation coordination, serving as on-ground representative for media and overseeing execution support, event planning and execution, as well as vendor management and partner liaison for both internal and external relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES Understand Marketing and PR strategy around opening and serve as a liaison for operations team Work with Advisor to onboard, train and develop plans Participate in client projects and be responsible of their outcomes.
Influence and participate in decision-making for client-facing projects. Manage project team members (and external clients) on their project deliverables and communicate with the client.
Delegate and use inclusive language and behaviors. Project manage independently. Oversee results and reporting for the projects they are leading.
Execute Event Planning : Work with Advisor to understand strategy Plan and execute on-ground events for 1-2 openings per month Schedule, manage and lead Marketing Associates for each opening Coordinate with Operator and Grand Opening Supervisors Coordinate Community Heroes for new restaurant openings Serve as primary contact for Operator and receiving organizations Coordinate ordering and organization of all miscellaneous items needed Resolve issues for unique on-ground problems / situations Serve as project manager for various opening-related projects, including activations which includes : Participation on cross-functional execution team - as needed Preparation of decks and other comms materials for updates Consult Operators around key strategies and long-term planning Serve as primary contact for reinvestment locations Organize e-materials and docs using platform organization and management tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneNote) Coordinate budgeting and invoicing for on-ground activations Serve as Direct Liaison for vendor / partner relationships : Dynamicard Meeting Tomorrow TeamStyle / Oobe Lynden Offer Support (PLI) Building 4 Sunrise Identity Workday Warehouse Merkle Yext EDUCATION Undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years experience with complex event planning for public-facing events across the US High project management proficiency including planning, role assignments, measurements, reporting.
