Maintenance Planner Scheduler
Pay Rate : $21.50 - $24.50 / hr
A Maintenance Planner Scheduler oversees and organizes scheduled maintenance tasks mostly Pm’s (Preventative Maintenance) but not limited to.
Making sure the parts needed to perform scheduled tasks are inhouse before scheduling work. This may include writing new PM’s for new equipment before or after it is put into service for production, rewriting PM’s on existing equipment when and where needed.
Assist others to make sure that production remain to run Safely, Efficiently and Productively when they are scheduled. Their normal shift is but not limited to 8 hours per day Monday through Friday.
Overtime of 9-10 per weekday shift and Saturday / Sunday maybe required upon production levels and schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all Safety Policies and procedures including but not limited to LO / TO.
- Work with Safety personnel to maintain and improve Safety.
- Plan and schedule PM’s for the maintenance techs.
- Work with Production Personnel when scheduling Maintenance Tasks that may or will affect production.
- Write new PM’s for new equipment before or after it is put into service for production.
- Write improved PM’s for existing PM’s / Equipment when needed.
- Work with the Maintenance Techs when writing new or improving existing PM’s. To ensure the PM’s are Safe, Efficient and Productive.
- Work with the Original Equipment Manufacturer when writing new or improving existing PM’s. To ensure the PM’s are Safe, Efficient and Productive.
- Make sure parts are ordered for scheduled PM’s when needed.
- Build parts kits for scheduled PM’s.
- Assist parts room clerk when needed.
- Assist CMMS Champion when needed.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor / Manager when needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certification from college or technical school preferred but not needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, pneumatics, mechanical.
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently.
- Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Some Heavy lifting may be required.
- standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Over
- Some Heavy Lifting may be required.
- Overtime maybe required.
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors mostly indoors in our climate-controlled facility.
