We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Staff Electrical Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to work on projects related to wastewater, water reuse, infrastructure, and stormwater.

Detailed Description :
Execute planning, design, and engineering services project work involving electrical power distribution systems for wastewater and water treatment, stormwater, infrastructure, and water reuse.
Conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design-related activities.
Perform project management, deputy project management, or task manager roles
Perform electrical engineering work on a variety of environmental engineering projects.
Perform calculations and prepare technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents.
Conduct field work and construction support services as necessary for various projects.
Communicate and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (drafters, designers, and other engineers).
Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time and on budget
Adhere to Brown and Caldwell’s QA / QC process.
Self-starter, results-oriented, and able to work under deadlines
Desire to work on projects related to wastewater, water resources, water reuse, infrastructure, and stormwater
Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and on large coordinated teams
Ability to successfully manage and deliver on multiple tasks with competing priorities
Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork at various sites
Knowledge of standard software including MS Office, Outlook, Autocad, and Bluebeam
Strong aptitude for researching and solving technical problems
Position Requirements
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Related coursework or internship experience required; 2+ years of professional experience preferred
FE (or ability to obtain in the near future) preferred
Experience in industrial power systems design, service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, emergency power, and power distribution equipment is desired
Knowledge of the application of the National Electrical Code preferred
Knowledge and understanding of electrical safety systems, NFPA 70E preferred
Salary Range : The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education.
These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A : $61,000 - $83,000
Location B : $67,000 - $91,000
Location C : $73,000 - $100,000
