Position Responsibilities : Follow the guidance and direction from lead, and senior SME’s. Remove, replace, adjust and / or install equipment racks, power panels and various aircraft components / assemblies, and closures. Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems. Perform wire routing and wire terminations. Perform soldering. Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems. Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number and three-point location. Obtain and verify detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects. Perform lock out, tag out, try out equipment for safety. Perform detailed tool inventories daily. Demonstrate a safe work ethic. Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures.
