Position Requirements : High school graduate or GED PLUS trade school or apprenticeship training. At least (3)years maintaining repairing troubleshooting and installing electrical / mechanical equipment and systems and associated equipment in a medical center large campus or industrial setting. Ability to operate maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems from low voltage to 4160 Volt systems emergency generators and transfer switches the electrical side of all building equipment and controls. Current State of Illinois drivers license IMSA Fire Alarm Level 1 Certification or equivalent within 1 year Will be required to work any shift including weekends and holidays. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with physical demands. Ability to work in extreme heat and temperature variations Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to move climb bend reach push and pull as related to job activities. Understanding and knowledge of electrical hazards related to job activities Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds or when patient is unable to assist with the lift patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate when available.
