Support parts sales by performing various shipping and receiving duties.
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
- Parts pick-up and delivery to / from local customers and vendors using company vehicle.
- Utilize computer for payroll, shipping, receiving and inventory control.
- Responsible for sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain adequate levels of shipping materials. Forward all purchase request to the supervisor.
- Maintain work area, warehouse and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory
- Follow prescribed safety regulations
- Perform various light janitorial duties
- Consistent, punctual time and attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of Age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift Heavy items 75+ pounds
- Computer Experience
- Fork Lift Experience
- Must have valid Georgia driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record (must pass background check)
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
Job Knowledge, Skills
Meet physical demands of the position : Drive company vehicle, lift heavy (75+ lbs objects). Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. Use company computer software.
- Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips. If needed enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
- Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers
- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements
- Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be able to be trained as an licensed forklift truck operator

Summary
The Driver is primarily responsible for driving the delivery vehicle to transport materials, supplies, or equipment.Other responsibilities include ensuring equipment / goods are configured to the bill of lading, for loading, securingand delivering materials in a safe and timely manner;
and completing and processing paperwork. The deliverydriver must also maintain a safe vehicle and comply with all government regulatory laws and may be required toset up equipment / goods at delivery site;
performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or asassigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Warehouse Manager orGeneral Manager depending on local requirements.
Essential Functions
Complies with delivery schedules and provides accurate, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries
Executes ticketing process according to Company standards
Accurately and efficiently stocks shipments
Pulls, prepares, and processes daily orders according to requisitions generated by the stores
Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations
Assists in the transportation of orders including driving between warehouse and stores and escortingvendor trucks (where applicable)
Identifies damaged and expired products
Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts
Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company and Branch
Assists in all maintenance responsibilities and activities established by the warehouse
Maintains fixtures and equipment storage
Assists with bin location upkeep; the physical inventory process; count, markdown and redliningprocess as needed (where applicable)
Maintains HACCP charts, walk-in coolers and freezers (where applicable)
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment
Requires a minimum of 1 year driving experience
Must be 21 years of age
Requires an ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoingpersonality
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policydocuments, as well as converse comfortably with customers
