Position Summary
Under direction, coordinates and processes maintenance service requests. This role is also responsible for tracking work processes within the computerized work order system and reporting on such progress.
Job Responsibilities
Processes incoming maintenance service requests and dispatches work requests to staff or outside contractors as appropriate.
Determines emergency work requests and if work is within scope. Creates computerized work orders as necessary.
- Maintains information regarding work performed within the computerized system to close work orders (labor hours, materials, account numbers, actual work that was completed, etc.).
- Utilizes the computerized maintenance system to track work orders and develop custom management reports for work performed.
Maintains files related to completed work orders.
- Completes the monthly chargeback report and reconciles closed work order charges with the report. Provides reports to appropriate supervisors within the department.
- Processes shutdown bulletins / postings regarding work to be performed.
- Performs routine secretarial duties. Answers, screens and routes telephone calls. Types and proofreads memos, correspondence and reports.
Sorts, screens and prioritizes all incoming mail.
Education
High School Diploma
Experience
Approximately 2 years of prior related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
