Overview
Under the direction of the Digital Director, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day management and overarching strategy across paid and organic digital channels as well as digital partnerships, and community management.
This is an opportunity to be on the front lines of a fast-growing national movement and manage a strategy that pushes the boundaries of how organizations harness the power of digital media.
The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands various social media platform features and best practices, is highly data-driven with the ability to translate digital metrics into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is passionate about utilizing storytelling for change and is always one step ahead of the game when it comes to the ever-evolving social media landscape.
The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in social media, strong written, verbal and organizational skills and will work best in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment.
This position will be part of REFORM’s Marketing team and will report to the Director of Digital and be based in our New York or DC office.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with the marketing and other cross-functional teams in order to devise strategies and programming across all digital channels
- In collaboration with Director, support the digital strategy and planning for paid and organic social media, email / SMS, website and other digital marketing needs
- Lead creation of digital campaigns and strategic initiatives, ensuring effectiveness across paid media and user acquisition priorities while driving growth and business impact
- Utilize data to extract big picture shifts, and make strategic digital marketing recommendations
- Lead strategic planning of social media calendar including content creation, captions, etc all while centering our mission, goals, and initiatives
- Manage digital calendars and activations across events, partner activations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust plans based on awareness, membership and advocacy targets.
- Drive growth, support key initiatives and uncover new opportunities to test acquisition
- Deliver strategic recommendations on how to optimize digital channels on an ongoing basis.
- Analyze digital data points to create strategic plans to drive online members, followers, traffic, engagement, and influence marketing programs across partners.
- Attend key marketing, comms, development and advocacy meetings to present digital strategy and plans.
- Define, measure, and review performance ROIs and report on business key metrics and inform the company on marketing returns on investment, as well as suggest appropriate next steps and course of actions to take
This position does require occasional posting during evenings and weekends
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Expert in content and social media optimization strategies across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook.
- Strong knowledge of current interactive channels and trends in online business development, particularly in social media, digital advertising, websites and email
- Proven track record of success working in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent attention to detail written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Strong working knowledge of Google analytics, Salesforce / CRM tools, social media analytics tools, and word press
- Expert at leveraging data to inform decisions
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment which demands high quality, creativity and consistency
- Creative thinker who’s always on the lookout for the next trend or opportunity
- Outstanding organizational skills, adept at prioritizing, multi-tasking and time management
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Asana
- Excellent communications skills ability to align strategies across various departments and teams
Salary + How to Apply
Salary range for this position : $85,000-$100,000
