Responsible for filing accurate and timely tax reports and remitting the proper amount due to the appropriate governmental agency while ensuring that all deadlines are met or exceeded.
Leads communications with internal service partners and governmental agencies to resolve filing exceptions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume responsibility for all tax filing and depositing duties
Files assigned taxes under limited supervision and coordinates with internal service partners on exceptions found during filing
Creates and maintains an up-to-date list of all clients filed within their assigned filing type
Maintain semi-monthly, monthly and quarterly tax filing documents for review
Run appropriate tax audits for use in completing tax returns
File all tax returns with appropriate tax authority
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Paycom personnel and management
Provides scripted client communication as needed and assists internal departments with client communication or support
Research, track, and resolve tax issues as needed
Responsible for assisting Paycom management with special projects as needed
