Role Description :
The Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, reviewing, validating, and maintaining HSE data in centralized HSE Systems of Record for environmental, regulatory, and corpo reporting to ensure compliance and the ability to monitor key performance indicators across HSE management systems.
The HSE Data Analyst is responsible for the accu data gathering, reporting, and submissions of environmental and pipeline safety regulatory required reports to federal and state agencies.
The HSE Data Analyst will have a key role maintaining systems of record, documentation in SharePoint sites, and identifying data collection and reporting efficiencies.
Responsibilities :
- Support data gathering and reporting to state and federal agencies for environmental and pipeline safety compliance
- Track applications, invoices and permit / agency fees for regulatory compliance
- Produce accu and timely data submissions and reports for internal corpo reporting
- Develop and manage workflows to collect, analyze, and maintain HSE data in centralized HSE Systems of Record (SOR)
- Develop and provide standardized methods for quality assurance and control of data entry and reporting to maintain a high degree of data quality
- Maintain HSE SharePoint sites including HSE team procedures, standards, processes, and manages access and version control of key documents
- Provide coaching and training to employees on the usage and maintenance of HSE SOR
Skills :
- Minimum of 5 years in an analyst role preferred
- Environmental regulatory experience in oil and gas industry preferred
- Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and visualization skills to develop reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and PowerBI
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Effective managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, environmental health and safety management, engineering, or relevant studies
