At least 3 years of research / industry hands-on experience in statistical modeling with real-world data. Solid foundation in mathematics and statistical modeling to be able to solve complex business problems via statistical models, machine learning algorithms, etc. Experience with weather and crop analysis highly desirable. Excellent programming skills and working experience in python and / or R as well as their standard analytical packages including pandas, numpy, geopandas. Ability to handle large spatial-temporal datasets. Knowledge about Dash / Django / R Shiny is desirable. Experience with creating packages in Python / R is a plus. Additional knowledge in HTML / Javascript is also a plus. Good understanding of concepts related to supply / demand / marketing in agriculture. Familiar with publicly available agriculture-related datasets such as those published by the US Department of Agriculture.
